My thoughts run free here…

Welcome to my blog

This is my corner of the Internet for sharing stories, ideas, and my travel experiences that shape my daily life…

  • My Last Night in Singapore for this year

The title might seem like as though it is some Last Supper thing. But it is nothing like that at all. It is just that, for the first time in my life, I am leaving my family for a long period of time and going overseas. It is a totally mixed experience of both sadness…

  • Saying goodbye is tough

Parting from family and friends is difficult. Its going to be a very tough two weeks for me as I say goodbyes to people near and dear to me. Granted that I will come back after six months, it still feels really hard to say goodbye. There is this gnawing feeling deep in my heart…

  • Macquarie University – Flying in July 🙂

The more I get to know about Macquarie University and Sydney, the more I am excited about going to Australia! It is simply amazing that such a dramatic change is happening in my life at this point of time. Two months ago, I was nowhere in life. Now I am at least somewhere. I am…

  • Some people have a lot of time in their hands and they spend those times to chat endlessly, without realizing that time is flying. I am not talking about friends chatting with the friends they know and meet in person. I am talking about people who chat with strangers on the web. This is such…

  • There are some secrets that are best if remained as secrets. Once they are out, your whole outlook in life changes. Many times this week I’ve felt like this world is going nowhere good. This feeling has not decreased but keeps increasing everyday.First time in my life, I don’t feel proud at all. I feel…

  • Sri Lanka’s Killing Field

It would be the end of the world as we know it. That is what it feels like when we come to know about the Sri Lanka’s civil war. It happened in 2009 but we only get to know the full picture now. It is very disturbing and heart wrenching. Just by watching the video…

Why I Started My Personal Blog

I started personal blogging as a way to give my thoughts a home—a space where my experiences, lessons, dreams, and quiet reflections could live beyond my journal pages. Between building my career, managing finances, exploring new places, and navigating life as a woman constantly learning and evolving, I realized I had stories worth telling. Writing became my way of slowing down, making sense of my journey, and honoring both the milestones and the messy in-between moments. This blog is where I document not just where I go, but who I am becoming along the way.

Over time, blogging grew into something deeper than self-expression. It became a bridge—connecting me with people who may be walking similar paths, feeling similar doubts, or chasing similar dreams. Whether I’m sharing travel reflections, personal finance insights, creative pursuits, or lessons from love and self-growth, my hope is always the same: that someone out there feels seen, encouraged, or a little more confident about their own journey. This space is my reminder that growth doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be honest.
