My thoughts run free here…

Welcome to my blog

This is my corner of the Internet for sharing stories, ideas, and my travel experiences that shape my daily life…

  • Paris Trip – The Pantheon

(This was a long overdue post that I must have written long back in 2017 when I travelled to Paris. I am way behind in my writings and hence, I am editing some of my drafts…) The Pantheon, often called the Temple of the Nation, is the resting place of the great minds of France,…

  • Why the Dalits thanked the British Government…

It is very important to study history from all angles, because what we constitute as the past or the truth, consists of multiple perspectives. With this in mind, one has to be open-minded when it comes to studying and understanding our history. When it comes to Indian history, there are multiple sides to it, and…

  • Indian history has always bemused me

In Isaiah Berlin’s work called, “The Hedgehog and the Fox: An Essay on Tolstoy’s View of History”, he explains that Tolstoy was driven by a “desire to penetrate to first causes, to understand how and why things happen as they do and not otherwise.” If we know how the world really works, we know everything,…

  • Tharoorism on Hinduism

(Published as Facebook Post on 19 October 2018.) “The fundamental element that makes Hinduism a unique religion is that there are no fundamentals. We have no single sacred book, no single religious hierarchy. There is no faith on the planet that allows such diversity of interpretation and practice as Hinduism. And that is its essence…

  • The Sabarimala Verdict

The Sabarimala issue has been going for many days and only in the past week we have heard the “landmark” judgement from the Supreme Court that women cannot be denied entry into the Temple under any pretences whatsoever. I have seen many diverse reactions to this issue coming from all corners. I have reserved from…

Why I Started My Personal Blog

I started personal blogging as a way to give my thoughts a home—a space where my experiences, lessons, dreams, and quiet reflections could live beyond my journal pages. Between building my career, managing finances, exploring new places, and navigating life as a woman constantly learning and evolving, I realized I had stories worth telling. Writing became my way of slowing down, making sense of my journey, and honoring both the milestones and the messy in-between moments. This blog is where I document not just where I go, but who I am becoming along the way.

Over time, blogging grew into something deeper than self-expression. It became a bridge—connecting me with people who may be walking similar paths, feeling similar doubts, or chasing similar dreams. Whether I’m sharing travel reflections, personal finance insights, creative pursuits, or lessons from love and self-growth, my hope is always the same: that someone out there feels seen, encouraged, or a little more confident about their own journey. This space is my reminder that growth doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be honest.
